From an early age, I have been deeply immersed in the arts, surrounded by an environment that fostered creativity. This was not just due to my environment; it reflected a deep-seated interest in the historical and cultural motifs, like the intricate architecture of Isfahan and the rich designs of Kurdish carpets, which spurred my passion for design and visual communication. My academic path commenced at the Academy of Fine Arts, where I developed my artistic skills, setting a strong foundation for my future.

My undergraduate studies were a significant turning point. Living in a city known for its artistic heritage, I explored unique motifs, which deepened my appreciation for art. During this time, I was part of a research group focusing on semiotics and symbolism, leading to the publication of “Naghsh Arrayeha,” a book now recognized across libraries, museums, and universities.

A key part of my undergraduate experience was participating in “Human, Nature ,Design” workshops, which allowed me to experiment with character design using unconventional materials like tea and coffee stains and recycled materials. My bachelor’s thesis on the “Picture Dictionary of Saltwater Sea Fishes for Age Group A” combined pattern analysis and semiotics, linking art with industry in a novel way that was praised by my professors.

I continued my academic journey with a master’s degree from one of Iran’s most prestigious art universities. I wrote “Artistic and Literary Criticism,” a book now used in several institutions’ curricula, fulfilling a dream of contributing to education. My master’s thesis on the iconographic analysis of animal motifs in Kurdish carpets broke new ground in the study of iconology.

In my professional life, I have applied my expertise across various sectors, honing my skills in advertising, branding, marketing, and packaging design, and gaining valuable insights into pre-market design considerations through printing supervision. I have remained active in academia, contributing to conferences and publications, especially in art history and semiotics, establishing myself as a thought leader.

This journey underscores my commitment to merging art with research, believing in research’s power to foster innovation and preserve our cultural legacy. As I aspire to join your institution, I bring a wealth of experience, a passion for exploration, and a vision for a future where art and science intersect for societal benefit.
